Hey, I'm Jenna. I love the intrinsically poetic nature of photography; it’s an artistic means of attempting to immortalize the transient moments that so quickly escape us. My admiration for the art-form started a little over a decade ago, with taking last minute senior portraits for a handful of my high school friends. It was then, with my basic point-and-shoot camera that I discovered how meaningful it is to artfully capture my friends as they naturally are.
In my twenties, I received my bachelor of fine art’s degree in drama. Despite the erratic turns my life has taken in my journey of self discovery, there is one thing that has remained constant; put a camera in my hands and I am happy. It only seemed natural to explore the world of photography. I’ve been teaching myself how to use Adobe Photoshop since I was in middle school, at first to make Sailor Moon and Lord of the Rings graphics for my fan websites. Years of experience and several DSLR upgrades later, here I am. Losing myself in the editing process is the most rewarding component of creating beautiful images.
Life is fleeting; its transience making it ever the more beautiful. I like to quietly capture the essence of my subjects, as they are in the moment. I aspire to compose images to be cherished for a lifetime.Visit My Website!
